Keeping it Classic

Happy Wednesday loves. When in doubt of what to wear or lacking creative motivation, I find myself reaching for a few basic favorites over and over. This is usually some sort of white top/blouse (I am just drawn towards white tops, what can I say) a favorite, perfectly broken in pair of jeans, a pair of classic black shoes and finally a coat (depending on the season). From there I can add or subtract accessories as needed. It may not be the most creative but it works without fail every time and I always feel confident every time.

Since pajama style tops have been so on trend recently I find myself reaching for this amazing one by Target’s newer line A New Day. It’s pretty amazing quality for the price tag and doesn’t wrinkle, is super soft, and wears well with just about anything. Sadly it’s no longer available but luckily there are so many pretty pajama style tops out there right now. I’ve linked some similar ones below. Just to add an extra playful touch I tied a black ribbon around the collar. I paired it with one of my oldest and most loved pairs of Joe’s jeans, some classic loafers, a maroon wool coat with a great drape shawl and a sequin coin bag.

Similar white pajama style top // similar style white piped blouse // similar distressed straight leg jeans {limited sizing left, on super sale} // same jeans as last, different sizes here // amazing distressed straight leg choice {Love this brand lately and haven’t caught them this low before!} // additional sizes of Agolde straight leg // the one, the only, classic loafer {steep price but such a timeless investment shoe and SO comfortable} // similar backless loafer dupe {a pretty darn close dupe of the backless Gucci if ya ask me – such a steal too} // same brand, similar maroon coat // same brand again, similar coat {such a great price} //

Hope the week flies by. xo, Jules
