Little Green Jumpsuit

Happy Wednesday. I don’t know about you guys but I am finding it hard to believe it’s already the middle of June! Summer always flies right by, which is likely why it is that much sweeter of a season as we try to savor it and cram in every bit of fun that we can. I won’t lie, I have recently been living in leggings and comfy tees or workout clothes during a 3 week stint of having someone under the weather in this house at any given time. Thankfully, everyone is finally feeling better just in time for summer to open up in full swing.

With the warm season I always find myself being more drawn to boho, easy one-and-done outfits like dresses and jumpsuits. And I am always pulling out either neutrals and whites or soft earthy tones. Something about the beauty of all the green grass and lush flowers and trees outside has me loving soft green, brown, and terra-cotta shades this time of year. So obviously, when I saw this jumpsuit on a random trip to Old Navy to buy some toddler vacation wear I didn’t hesitate to purchase it. Even though it was mid-March with plenty of snow on the ground and no sunshine in sight. I knew the time would come when I would be rocking this comfy tencil onesie and I was so right.

Now it does have that super oversized-boho-flair to it so I know it’s not exactly for everyone but it is so soft, super comfy, and travels well. I ended up wearing it on vacation no less than 4x over 12 days so I can vouch for its comfort level. I love the collarless blouson front and the wide leg. It pairs well with all sorts of browns and golds and that gorgeous reddish-brown terra-cotta shade of my Lucky Brand bag. Plus, you can’t really beat the bargain price.

Jumpsuits are a staple piece this time of year and are popping up in all shapes, sizes and colors by so many brands that with a little research you can find the perfect one for you. I already have a slightly dressier black (any occasion) jumpsuit from many years ago, a backless dark teal one, and a linen white one (can’t wait to share this one with ya’ll) so this laid back green one was a welcome addition to the collection. I’m also eyeing up a jogger style navy one next once we edge closer to fall. I’ll keep you all posted on how this hunt goes…

If you’re an avid jumpsuit wearer or new to the world of adult-sized onesies 😉 definitely check out some of the awesome wide leg options out there, I’ve only managed to round up a handful for ya here.
