It’s Food Friday again you it’s and I am feeling hungry! But I also need something quick. Oh, and for on the go. Did I mention it needs to be healthy and fuel me for hours of chasing a toddler and errands? If this scenario sounds familiar then you probably are a lot like me and always rushing to and from while toting around plenty of snacks for your kids. But what about you? I frequently would find myself so hangry between meals while swimming or doing other fun summer activities with my son.
And instead of throwing a random granola bar in my bag, or stealing some of my son’s snacks and I really wanted to put a stop to that. So I stared drinking this smoothie. Most days that I make it my son ends up asking for some and eating mom’s snack instead of vice versa and since it’s packed with greens and protein I don’t mind sharing. 😉
